“Well, it's about Kame, I saw him crying and he kept asking me a lot of questions. And I can't even give him a straight answer then he left me. He said he's never coming back, and Koki appeared, kame was going with him “Jin can't help but cry remembering that scene of Kame leaving him.

“So why didn't you stop him?" ryo asked

“I wanted to, I tried to but Megumi was also there, she's stopping me. And I can't break through her grip “jin replied clenching his fist in anger

Ryo understands what Jin felt; he analyzed the dream and understood what it means. He patted his friend's shoulder trying to calm him, Jin asked him about the dream it seems Jin don't get it. “Ryo, why does that dream feels so real, what does it mean?" he kept on asking his friend. Ryo on the other hand wants Jin to understand it by himself, but he knows Jin is a big baka. It might be too late before he can figure it out. He let out a sigh and gave his friend a hint, " Jin, listen to this very carefully it can help you or not. It depends on how you'll take my advice “ryo explained carefully, Jin just replied with a nod and started to listen.

" you are right our dreams sometimes reflects situations to reality they are mirror images to what might happen in the future, it could be about issues concerning decisions or maybe something that gives us hint on what should we do or choose. Remember what I have told you before? “Ryo asked

“What?" jin replied with a question?

“See, that's it you’re not paying attention to what's happening around you, the people around you. You're too busy looking at you own side, try to look at things in a perspective ... and... Observant way. You’ll see what you will’ll have to do “ryo said while looking at his friend who seemed confused.

“Ryo can you please just get to the point?" he pleaded

“It’s time for you to let yourself grow man... try to be independent, if people would always do things for you. What can you do for them if they needed you? Jin always remember these, decisions are not made to just solve things, every decision you make reflects who you are. And every promise you break, reflects who you really are “ryo added

“Huh?? I can't see through your words, what decisions?? What promise? reflections?" jin questioned his friend again looking more confused than ever, Ryo can't help but chuckle seeing his friend's expressions " jin, this is the last hint I will tell you “Life is a never ending obstacle, meeting a lot of people isn’t new. Choose those people, who won’t leave you, live with those people who loves you for whatever you are. (taken from chap.1) and choose those who makes you happy, because your happiness is your choice"

“I still don't get it “jin having his worst expression ever

“*smiles* come on, let's just go for have some fun tonight so you can relax you brain muscles a bit. So you can let that stupid brain of yours work tomorrow" ryo said while insulting his friend that seemed to be a little happier than before

" what?? I’m smart you now," spanking ryo's head

“Itai...ok... ok... if you say so... see you later baka!!" ryo said as he spank his friend's head for revenge and run

“Oi, I’ll let you pay for that!!” Jin shouted as he headed to follow the other and go home.

Before Kame knew, it was already the time for the hang-out with his friends. He thought of not coming, but when he remembers Maru’s weird expressions he can’t help but come and see more of it.  He got up from bed and opened his closet to find something to wear for the night. Kame was known for his style, he was adored by the things he wears.  No wonder a lot of people are attracted when he’s on the scene. He decided to wear something simple but still has “the look” that people would expect.

The four decided to meet up at Kame’s place. Koki, Ueda and Maru already meet up and gave the boy a call before they headed at his home.

Kame on the other hand, who have finished preparing himself headed downstairs to wait for his friends to come. His mother, Michiko felt relieved when she finally saw her son going out. She knew that his son is going through a difficult situation, she was not sure of what it was, but her mother instinct tells her so.

“Kaa-san I’m going out tonight with Koki, Ueda and Maru” Kame told her mom excitedly as he goes down the stairs.

“It’s been a while since you’ve go out, dear” her mother said smiling to his son who smiled beautifully back at her that made her feel at ease,

“They’ll pick me up later, I’ll introduce them to you, I’m sure you’ll like them” he said happily, holding his mother’s hands.

“I can’t wait to meet them” she said eagerly when she saw how happy Kame while talking about his new friends.

As the two we’re talking about Kame’s new friends the door bell rang, and he stood up quickly and open the door to let the three in and introduce them to his mother. His mother was too excited to meet the people who helped bring back his son’s smile back again.

“Good- evening” the three greeted their friend and his mother happily. Michiko was amused seeing how the three greeted her. She invited them in for a cup of tea, and the three nodded and followed Kame inside.

Michiko offered them a cup of her special tea, which results to Maru’s exaggerated expressions that made them all laugh.

“Whoa… Oishii...” Maru shouted wearing another weird expression in his face.

Koki spanks Maru’s head “stop that, you’re scaring kame’s mother”. Maru’s holding his head in pain because of Koki’s strong spank.

Michiko is laughing so hard because of the cute seen, she’s relieved that Kame managed to have friends like them, and then she remembered the only friend Kame had before Jin. So she asked why the boy is not there. The four just kept quiet, when Koki stepped on the scene “Ahh… I think we need to go now, or else we’ll miss all the fun” he insisted while bowing down to Michiko as they all headed outside the house.

“Ohh… I see, just have fun the, be careful” she waved them goodbye as they go out the house. But she felt something weird after she mentioned Jin’s named, and how they all reacted. Instead of paying attention to what she observed, she just kept it to herself and let her son enjoy the night.

They headed to their destination, Kame told Koki his appreciation, smiled at him then run towards Ueda and Maru was having a great time.

They entered the establishment, found a perfect place to seat, ordered some drinks and dance along the loud beats of the music.

Ryo waited for Jin to arrive, just as he expected he was late again. He has this time problems. When Jin finally arrived he started saying sorry all the way to the bar. Ryo who was amused by Jin’s action just laughed.

Finally when Jin got tired of apologizing, He didn’t even notice that they finally arrived at the place Ryo was talking about, he got too thirsty so he quickly searched for an empty seat, ordered anything that will quench his thirst and he carelessly drink it in one gulp.

Jin was not aware that what he had drink contains almost 50% of alcohol, and he had consumed a mug full of it, Ryo saw what happened and he was afraid that Jin might lose his consciousness too early, or he might do something irresponsible.

Jin has a good tolerance with alcohol. But when he’s depressing, he suddenly turns into something that’s not pleasing to the eyes. He would crave for too much alcohol, and when he gets too drunk and suddenly sees the person who made him depress, he’ll talk about ridiculous things and confront him with no regrets.

And when he wakes up, he can’t remember a thing, even a single one.

Ryo was freaking worried about his friend so he just decided to carry his friend and put him to seat on the couch away from the alcohol beverages.

But Ryo’s eyes were shocked when he realized that Kame was there inside the bar with Koki, Maru and Ueda.

He was panicking because if Jin sees him, a big ruckus will start, and he’s pretty sure what will happen. He talked to Jin and told the other that they should leave the place and look for a better one. But Jin refused “It’s great here, the drinks are good, and the music seems to set my mood” he insisted as he stands up to go on the dance floor.

Ryo knew that Jin might see Kame dancing there with Koki and the others which will make Jin furious than ever, he tried to convince Jin to dance later. But the other doesn’t want to, “what will I do, if I won’t dance then?” Jin asked ryo who keeps on thinking of ways to not let the two meet.

“Let’s just drink then” Jin seems to buy what Ryo is coming up. So Ryo got the drinks and they talked about important and no so important things at the same time. But luck just won’t cooperate with Ryo, Jin headed towards the dance floor, he followed the other. Both was shocked, first Jin saw Kame, second Ryo failed to stop the incidence.

“Kame?? Why is he here, and he’s with... Koki?” Jin kept murmuring, because he can’t believe what he saw, Kame was fine without him? Am I that easy to forget?

Because of the effect of the alcohol, Jin felt so angry, jealous and things he can’t explain. He went to where Kame was, he was going to confront him. When he reached where Kame was, the others were also shocked, Kame’s eyes widened, he’s body froze, his body can’t find the strength to walk away.

“Ji..iin??”

A:N: Seriously, I didn’t expect this chapter will be this long. Yay for me… But I don’t think this chapter satisfies me, even I am responsible for what is happening in the story. I personally thinks it lacks a lot (can’t explain what it is). But I hope you’ll like this… College days are coming soon *tensed* so I’m hoping I can finish this sooner. ~~ Kame?? Is it really you?? Jin muttered as he saw a slender figure sitting from afar,

“Oi Kame?? Please look at me, I didn't mean to hurt you... please forgive me... Kazuu? Please. Jin kept pleading until Kame tilted his head towards Jin's.

“Jin... why?? wh...why?? what have I done to you?.. wh..why are you doing this? tell me.. “Kame cried his heart out “I’ve been a very good friend haven’t I? I’ve been al...lways on your side... but why??"

All Jin could hear were the sobs Kame's making, the questions he kept asking, the questions that Jin can't seem to give clear answers.

“Jii... jin... please tell me...”

Jin's mind was torn... he can't think of anything to say... all he said was “kame... I’m sorry...” that doesn't make Kame comfortable.

“Kame.... I’m really really sorry, things were so messed up, I ... there... decisions, you... Megumi....argument... I’m confused so, I ...left.... you. But...but... I don't... mean..... I just have to do it... soo... sorry...” Jin couldn't put his words into clear sentences he kept muttering about things Kame can't understand

“Jin... what are you talking about?? what decisions??... what about Megumi?? I ... I can't get to your point? Are you toying with me again?? Ohh yeah... I get it now I'm just your freaking TOY for goodness sake, don't worry I won't bother you... the toy you've got tired of, the toy you have abandoned will never come back." Kame was angry he was so oppressed that he can't help but cry and walk away.

Jin was panicking he doesn't know what to do Kame is walking away from him, he got jealous when he saw Koki accompanying Kame, he tried to stop the other, he wanted to go after him but a set of hands hugged him and told him to stop.. It was Megumi his girlfriend, he can't escape from his girlfriend grip. She seem stronger in the dream, Kame looked back to see if Jin would come after him, because despite of what had happened he is still open to forgive his friend. As he saw the scene of Jin and megumi, he can't believe it; he drowned in his own tears knowing that this was the end... The friendship... everything...

Jin woke up, his sweat covered the sheets of his bed, He can't believe the dream, or he might say a nightmare he had last night. His heart was beating faster, he was so afraid to see Kazuya out of his life; he remembered his friend's face covered with tears and his pair of eyes that kept looking for answers. He doesn't want his friend to leave him, so he decided to talk to Kazuya no matter what... He said to himself " Jin... this is just a dream... it's just a stupid dream. And dream's are opposite to reality, so be confident... stay easy... everything's going to be fine"

That's what he thought but things are far more complicated than what he can imagine.

Kame on the other hand prepared for school, the same dream he and Jin had kept playing in his mind, He can't forget every word Jin said. He felt weird, but instead of thinking about it, and trying to solve it. He just decided to just forget about it and continue his life.

It was 8:00 in the morning, classes are about to start. Kame walked past the school gate and meet up with his new friends in the classroom, Koki and the latter's friends' Ueda and Maru.

“Ohayou...” Kame greeted the three

“Ohayou." Koki replied

“kame-chan how's your day?" maru asked with a cheerful voice

“Ahh... me? Ohhh... I’m just fi...fine”

“You sure?? You don't seem fine " Ueda added

“Ahh... minna, kame-chan is just like that... so don't worry" Koki explained to cover kame.

*bell rings* classes have started, Jin arrived late as he entered the classroom he stopped on Kame's seat, both looked at each other. When Jin was about to say something their teacher told him to quickly get to his seat so they could start the class, so Jin followed their teacher so the class started. The day seems so long and tiring, Class ended as usual, students are chatting on the corridors, and some are having plans for their night hangouts.

The four left the school together, Koki, Maru and Ueda are thinking of something to do tonight. They wanted to cheer up their new friend Kame because he had been quiet all day, staring at his table.

“Ne, Kame... want to go out tonight?" Ueda asked.

“Tonight?? Ahh...mm “Kame seemed not interested but before he could say no, Maru cut off his words by asking more questions.

“You’re free right? You’ll come with us right? Or you don't want to go with us? because we’re not good friends" Maru asked with  puppy eyes expression on his face, Maru has the talent to make people agree with him no matter what, so Kame as he saw Maru's weird expressions definitely agreed to come.

“Hai... I’ll come then “Kame replied scratching his head not knowing why he agreed so easily.

“Hahahaha... see I have good convincing powers” Maru boasted,

“Shut up... Maru... Kame just agreed because he doesn't want to see more hideous expression from you're already weird face “Koki said as he spanked hid friend's head

“Yeah, if I were to see that face of yours, I think I’ll just say yes than to see your weirdness " ueda added as he laughed so hard at his friend wickedness..

" Shh.. guys, let's not bully Maru ok? He might end up making worst expressions again " Kame added as he was having fun teasing Maru who made another weird expression!!

“You guys... are so mean... Kame please help me!!! “Maru clunged to Kame's arm like a child who were bullied by a bunch of sarcastic kids.

"Ok well, stop as long as you won't let us see Ur face” Ueda and Koki blurted out, which made Maru pissed so he ran after the two and Kame who have been left can't

Stop laughing as he tries to catch up with the three. He told himself that at least he found more precious people that will never leave him “oil... guys wait for me...” Kame shouted.

“You’re too slow... “The three told kame running as fast as they can. The streets are filled with laughter, and Kame felt secured for a while knowing he still have friends to

run to anytime. As Kame was trying to catch his friends, he accidentally bumped someone. He didn't notice it was Ryo, Jin's friend he told the other sorry and immediately run after his friends... Ryo just smiled when he saw Kame was doing fine; he thought Jin and Kame's little fight came to an end.

CHAPTER 3..

He let the two leave before he managed to go out...

With guilt and sadness he walked home trying to think of ways to get his best friend back...

~~ Kame and Koki headed home but an idea popped from Koki's head,

“Kame... do you really want to forget what happened today?”

“Hmm... of course, I want to...”

“Why don't we go for a drink? Ne”

“I know a place with good atmosphere and excellent drinks... ji....n" his words were cut off when he realized that place is where he and Jin often go there.

The two stayed silent Koki was ab0ut to comfort Kame when the boy spoke “it’s really hard to forget him, a lot of my everyday routine is connected with that man... (Jin)" Kame frowned.

Koki with nothing more to say just told Kame that they should just call it a night and rest.

"Yes, I think it'll be better if we just rest" Kame said with a deep sigh.

.......

Jin was heading home with a big frown on his face, he felt guilty seeing his besrfriend suffer because of his reckless decisions, and felt anger at the same time when he remembers the picture of Kame and Koki together. And he just can't think of something to resolve the problem he started.

He thought of waiting for Kame at school but he was afraid the other might ignore him or he might get punched or kicked in the face I he show himself in front of Kame.

He can't even imagine looking Kame face to face knowing what he had done on him.

Jin's thought are crushed into tiny bite size pieces that even her girlfriend couldn't fix. He was afraid to make another move knowing he couldn't afford any mistakes or things will be worst.

“I’m such a baka... for goodness, what have I done?" Jin questioned himself feeling annoyed.

He kept murmuring "think...think...think..." while he was walking. Good thing the one heard him because it was already late in the evening.

Jin walked inside his house with the face of a child who lost its precious teddy, her mom saw him and asked him what's wrong.

But Jin was so upset to even answer her mum; he just walked upstairs and laid his tired body on the bed...

Kame reached the doors of her house and out goodbye to Koki before entering his house...

“JA... ne, thank you for accompanying me" Kame started as he opens

“Don’t mention it... Oyasumi!! See you tomorrow at school" Koki shouted looking back at Kame while he was running his way home

Kame opened the door. Memories of he and Jin rushed like a storm through his already flooded mind.

~~ "Ohayou,, Kazu-chan.. ohayou Kame kaa-san -" Jin greeted happily when he entered Kame's house to play

"Ohh... ohayou, come in" as Kame pulled Jin quickly inside.

“Sugoii~~ you've got such nice house Kazu-chan”

“Arigatou... where would you wanna play? Upstairs ne? Kame asked jumping excitedly

“Ahmm... ok upstairs then “he agreed while giving Kame a big smile and nodded

“Let’s go?” Kame answers flashing Jin with his playful smiles.

......

Kame remembered the first time he invited Jin into their house and the first time they played and became friends...

They were so happy before, not like what's happening now. Kame entered his room and fell into a deep slumber

And he enters dreamland

.....

Jin looked through the ceiling of his room and starts to close his eyes and rest, his tired mind and he also started to dream

As the two slept, their dreams suddenly collided. As if fate is making ways from them to communicate, both of them dreamt of each other

Trying to look for answers. Both of them just can't believe that in all of the places they could meet? Why did it have to be in their dreams only?

~~ “Kame?? Is it really you?? “Jin muttered

CHAPTER 2... 

For Kame, Jin was the pearl of his life...

Jin's attention was caught by the loud steps around the corridor, so he thinks that he should take a look if someone had been eavesdropping on him. But he was shocked seeing Kame, running and crying he was about to go after Kame when he remembered his girlfriend was still on the line...

"Moshi moshi??" megumi kept talking, "Ei~ Jin are you still there?|

Jin picked up his phone immediately, “ahh...sorry dear for making you wait.." Jin said in a trembling voice"

" What's the matter? You seem disappointed? Are you regretting your decisions? “Megumi asked.

“Oh... No... What makes you think I regret it...? I have you now what could i ask for? Jin answered

Megumi can't help but feel joyous, because she succeeded pushing Kame out of Jin's life...

On the other side~~

As Kame strolled the streets... He can't help but pity himself, he questioned himself why did this happen? Why does he have to endure such pain? Did he do something wrong?

He kept questioning his self. All day he wandered the city trying to find the answers to his never ending questions.

It was evening when kame realized that he's feet were already tired of walking and running. So he decided to rest on nearest bench he saw near a park.

He closed his eyes for a while as he recalled that this park was the place where He and Jin first saw Megumi.

~ “oi... Kame you’re late again... you're just like a slow turtle" Jin shouted

“EHH?? It’s not my fault because you’re so excited to meet me?" Kame teased Jin and raised his eyebrows.

“What makes you think about those things? Are you crazy or something" he answered kame white patting his friend's head

“Let’s stop this craziness let's start our escapade then? Kame insisted and Jin agreed.

As the two wander round the busy streets Jin eyes were caught by a girl sitting in a bench near a park. He excitedly told kame about the girl. “hey Kame~ look isn't she stunning?" Jin shrugged.

"Huh? What is it now?" Kame asked as he saw the one Jin was talking about, so he teased his friend and pushed him toward the girl.

Jin blushed like an elementary student that had a crush for the first time. Kame can't control his laughter and let out a big grin. And Kame told the girl about Jin’s feeling and Jin can't move his body because of his bashfulness.

“Ahh... ano~~ Hmmm... I... a--m... Ji.... Jin, soo~~" before he can finished his sentence  girl answered him happily... “I’m Megumi desu, nice to meet you Jin-Kun"

Jin can't help but smile as he felt that the girl was also interested with him.

Kame helped Jin in courting Megumi. And because of Kame's little advices, Jin and Megumi started dating together.

He saw how happy his friend was when Megumi agreed to be his girlfriend.

Kame helped them. If it weren't for him Jin and megumi won't be together...

~~ Jin bid megunni a quick goodbye and run after Kame, but Kame was miles away from Jin now.

Jin felt guilty, because Kame heard everything he said and he didn't mean them. It was just a show for Megumi to stop being jealous. Jin felt his body stiffened as he remembers the broken expression on kame's face, he was in a caught dilemma. He thought everything was going according to his plans, he thought it was going to be okay. Roughly things just don't seem to go the way he wanted.

He is planning to tell Kazuya everything later but the boy knew it and worst he didn't have the chance to explain.

He kept running to find Kazuya, and try to explain everything to him...

Jin knew how king Kame is... He keeps murmuring to himself that it's going to be fine,

That Kazuya will understand and forget everything...

He strolled every possible place kame might think of going it was getting dark and he failed. So he decided to go home and see Kazuya in the morning to give his explanations.

But as Jin headed back he saw Kame sitting on a bench, he smiled thinking that this is a great chance. Suddenly his eyes were shocked to see someone beside his friend, so he sneaked into the plants near the bench to see who it was, Koki.

Jin clenched his fist and was planning to hit him when he heard Kazuya speak...

Kame started to open his eyes as saw visions of Jin and him together. He let out a sigh and he was shocked when he saw his friend Koki at his side.

He wipes his tears and asked “why are you here?? Since when have you been sitting there?"

Koki looked at him and said “I just happened to pass by when I see you crying, and I thought you needed a little company" he smiled.

Koki was his classmate since elementary, he had been friends with him but they're not too close because Jin always caught his attention. And Jin hates him because Jin thinks Koki is going to steal his best friend.

So they never got the chance to know each other well... And Jin would bully Koki if he tries to get near Kame.

"Uhh... did you hear me when i was crying?" Kame asked worriedly

“hmm... let's just say I heard it all, but don't worry me won't laugh at you" Koki answered looking at the sky... while Kame tried to cover his face with his hands...

“So, can I ask you why are you crying?"

Kame stopped for a while and thought Jin would be angr....y, and he remembered that Jin is not his friend anymore. And kame didn’t stop himself from opening up his problems with Koki.

Kame took a deep breath and spoke. “It’s Jin"

Koki just looked at Kame's sad expression; "well, you can tell me anything if you like, I’ll keep it as a secret promise" while tapping the boy's head.

Kame felt at ease for a while. “Jin chose megumi that girl over me, his best friend for many, many years. And worst I heard him telling his girlfriend that I’m just his toy"

“And what did you do?"

"No...Nothing,"

“You have the power to yell at him? Why didn't you?"

"I can't... i can't possibly hurt him" a tear roll down his face

Koki can't take seeing Kazuya cry, because he wanted to be close with him so much, he wanted to protect him... He sighed and looks back at the sky...

“You know Kame~ sometimes we have to learn to let go of something, because it's a chance for you to start something new. Be someone better... Life is a never ending journey, you should start picking a journey that will make you happy, Kame your happiness is your own choice."

Kame start thinking, he knew Koki was right he shouldn't let himself drown in pain because he was left. He needs to start something, not for Jin not for anybody but for him.

He raised his head high and smiled, wiping the tears from his eyes.

“I think your right! maybe I should start something for myself I don't deserve this, I'm Kamenashi Kazuya and no Jin can make me down.." he said proudly standing up in front of Koki

"Are you sure?? No Jin can make you down?? I remember a while ago you were in deep pain because of him. And if I wasn't here you'll be like that until now?" Koki boasted

Kame pouted “aren’t you supposed to cheer me up?"

“Ok... i'm sorry “koki chuckles seeing Kame's childish expressions

“Thank you, for comforting me" Kame whispered.

“It’s nothing; I just wanted to help you"

“Thanks again, now i will start my new life without that bastard!! And find a lot of better friends than him"

“Can I be, one of them?? Hmm??" Koki asked in a sweet tone “since Jin is not there to stop me anymore?

“I gladly accept"!!

~~ Jin was so dumbfounded when he heard everything his best friend said, he felt so guilty and he hated himself.

He heard everything from the start, and he was hurt to hear that Kame is getting rid of him for good.

“I can't blame you for feeling that way, but I’m sorry Kazu, I really am” Jin whispered to himself

He let the two leave before he managed to go out...

CHAPTER 1....

“Oi, Kame stop being so slow! Move faster will you?”

Jin shouted. “Gomen ne, I just forgot something” kame explained as he runs toward his friends way. “So where are we going today buddy?” kame asked as he put an arm on his friend’s shoulder. “It’s up to you” Jin answered in a low voice.

Jin was not being himself today, Kame wondered why. So he invited Jin to stay in his place to cheer him up.

Kame noticed Jin have been too quiet when they left school. The two entered at Kame’s house and Jin stayed quiet as Kame prepared some snacks. The house was filled with silence, only their breaths echoed around. Kame tried to break the silence but Jin seemed to interrupt him with a deep sigh.

“Kame, I have something to tell you” Jin said

“What is it?” kame answered back wondering.

“Ahh... ano~ can we stop being friends from now on?” kame was so shocked and he said “why? Have I done something wrong?”

“No, I just don’t feel you, I just don’t like you” Jin said in an irritated tone. “This friendship sucks, I’ve been trying to mingle with you but it just won’t work, I’m sorry”

Kame never felt being insulted like this because Jin and he have been friends since childhood. But before he could answer back, his friend vanished out of his sight, leaving him feeling down.

Jin did not intend to say those words but he has no choice.

~Cell phone ringing….. It was Jin’s girlfriend Megumi, “hello dear, you called” he answered happily. “Oh so you’re not expecting me to call you” megumi said in a cold voice.

“What’s the problem dear? Why are you so irritated” Jin answered worried

“You don’t know? I’m so sick of this set-up, why do you have time to be with that Kame than me?” she said loudly

“So my Megumi is jealous” Jin said with a catchy voice.

“Stop fooling, I am not kidding, stop being friends with Kame” megumi shouted.

Jin’s eyes widened because he can’t possibly leave his friend behind “but I can’t he is my best buddy” he said

But Megumi insisted that if Jin won’t leave Kame, she’ll break up with him and before Jin could answer Megumi had already closed her phone. Jin tried to call her but she won’t answer, Jin was so confused because the choice was between his best friend and girlfriend. So he had to decide, he was so crazy about Megumi so Jin decided to abandon poor Kame

 Ryo’s house

~ bell ringing…

Jin came to Ryo’s house for an advice, He can’t think of anyone else to run to since He and Kame are not doing fine those days.

Opens the door “Oh it’s you what brings you here?” ryo asked in surprise “come on in”

Jin don’t know how to start, his mind was filled with pity and shame.

“Ano… Ryo, Will you get angry if your best friend leaves you behind” Jin asked

“ yes, I’ll kill him if he do so” Ryo’s answer made Jin even more scared to open up, but Ryo was aware of kame and Jin’s little fight so he asked Jin what really happened. Jin told Ryo everything, so he couldn’t help feeling sorry for Jin because he was forced to choose between the two most precious people in his life. And pity for Kame, because he was left behind. Ryo knows how hard it is to choose but he told Jin “Life is a never ending obstacle, meeting a lot of people isn’t new. Choose those people, who won’t leave you, live with those people who loves you for whatever you are.” Jin can’t help but remember Kame and their friendship; he can’t help but regret his decisions.

~ Kizuna playing… Jin and Kame were singing together at the KTV house, they drank wine and ate a lot of foods. They sang and sang until they’re voice were cracked, it was they’re way of forgetting their problems. Both of them would scream out loud and cry when they can’t take their problems, and laugh after. Kame and Jin would wander around Tokyo to have fun, and kill time.

These memories kept playing on Kame’s mind. He can’t help but cry because Jin was gone. Every little thing they’ve shared was a treasure for Kame, so it is hard for him to just forget everything behind. The last words Jin have said cuts Kame’s heart into pieces, he can’t believe Jin would do such a thing.

On his way to school, Kame was facing the ground as he walked on the hallways to go to his class, when he accidentally bumped into Jin. The friend he lost without any reason. Kame tried to speak but it feels like his throat dried up, no words came out. So he walked passed Jin. But he was surprised that Jin called him.

“Kame,” Jin said. Kame looked back happily as he heard Jin apologize to him, and he asked what happened. Jin wanted to tell the truth but his tongue pushed him to tell a lie. “It’s just that I don’t want to be a burden for you” he said.

“Don’t think it that way” kame said gladly, because for Kame, Jin was never a burden.

“But I don’t want to bother you, that’s the reason why I left” Jin lied again. But kame believed every single word that came out of Jin’s mouth. And as Kame thought everything was going smoothly Jin asked him a favor to keep their friendship a secret. First Kame wondered why, but instead of asking he nodded because he doesn’t want to lose his friend again.

~3:00 pm Jin’s girlfriend called, and asked what Jin’s decision was? It took a lot of effort for Jin to lie again,

“Well, I realized you are much more important than that Kame. So I stopped being friends with him” Jin exclaimed. Megumi was so glad to hear about Jin’s decisions, but she was not contented, she asked how did Jin told Kame to stop their friendship. Jin said “I told him that I don’t want to be friends with him and left” his girlfriend was too happy. Jin also told Megumi that Kame doesn’t mean anything to him and he’s just a toy.

But unfortunately, Kame was walking down the hallway and accidentally heard everything; tears fell from his eyes as his heart broke. Jin was surprised to see Kame standing behind him and walked away. Jin never wanted to lie, but he can’t think of anything. Instead of keeping his best friend and girlfriend, he ended up hurting his best friend

Kame run far away as he can, feeling hurt twice the pain he felt in the first time. It is painful for him to be nothing in Jin’s life. Even it is just Jin’s lie to protect their friendship, it ended up being destroyed.

Despite the pain, Kame still things that the pearl of their foundation will keep growing. For Kame. Jin was the pearl of his life...
